Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, qualified, and compassionate Male Resident Medical Officer (RMO) - Ayurveda to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day patient care, supervising traditional Ayurvedic treatments, and ensuring the smooth operation of the inpatient (IPD) and outpatient (OPD) departments. As a resident officer, you will play a critical role in patient recovery, treatment precision, and emergency management.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care & Consultation: Conduct initial patient assessments, record detailed medical histories (including Prakriti analysis), and assist Senior Physicians in mapping out treatment plans.
- IPD & OPD Management: Manage the daily rounds for inpatient wards, monitor patient progress, and handle routine OPD consultations.
- Treatment Supervision: Oversee the execution of Panchakarma therapies and other traditional Ayurvedic treatments, ensuring strict adherence to prescribed protocols and hygiene standards.
- Staff Coordination: Guide and supervise male therapists, nursing staff, and pharmacy teams to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Emergency Response: Attend to medical emergencies or sudden changes in patient conditions during residential shifts, stabilizing patients and coordinating with senior consultants.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential electronic or physical medical records, case sheets, and discharge summaries.
Job Specifications & Qualifications
RequirementDescriptionEducationBAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized university/college.
RegistrationValid registration with the Central/State Council of Indian Medicine.
Experience0 to 3 years of experience in an Ayurvedic hospital or luxury wellness resort. (Freshers with strong clinical knowledge are welcome).Gender PreferenceMale (Required for specific clinical supervision and physical evaluation roles in the male ward/Panchakarma units).Language SkillsFluency in the local regional language and working knowledge of English.Key Skills & Competencies
- Clinical Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of Ayurvedic pharmacology (Dravyaguna), diagnostics (Nidana), and Panchakarma procedures.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills to build rapport with patients, family members, and the internal medical team.
- Crisis Management: Ability to remain calm, think critically, and act swiftly during clinical emergencies.
- Team Leadership: Capability to manage, motivate, and correct therapists and support staff to maintain high service standards.
