Cloud infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated candidate to join our team as a Server Infrastructure Engineer. This role will focus on maintaining and optimizing both on-premises and cloud-based server environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of server management, migration between on-premises and cloud environments, and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of critical workflows. Key Responsibilities: Operating Systems: Proficient in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of both Windows and Linux operating systems. Virtualization: Expertise in VMware for server virtualization and management. Monitoring & Performance: Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and alerting server health and performance metrics. Network Management: Strong understanding of network management and configuration, including firewalls, routing, and VPNs. Cloud Migration: Experience with on-premises to cloud migration (preferably in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced knowledge of Ansible and Terraform for automating infrastructure provisioning and management. Scripting & Automation: Expertise in Python and Shell scripting for automating server management and maintenance tasks. Database & Storage Management: Solid experience with database management and storage solutions to ensure optimal server performance. Troubleshooting & Debugging: Ability to quickly debug and troubleshoot system issues under pressure to ensure continuous operations. DevOps Basics: A foundational understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
