Job Title: Senior Manager - Vendor Management
Department: Vendor Management Team (VMT)
Reporting To: Head of VMT
Location: Airoli, Navi Mumbai
Working type : Hybrid ( 2-3 days in office compulsory)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Onboarding & Lifecycle Management
Lead end-to-end onboarding of vendors, covering both financial and non-financial aspects.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements during onboarding.
Maintain and update vendor master data in the Vendor Onboarding System (VOS).
Vendor Governance & Compliance
Ensure adherence to vendor management policies and procedures.
Manage documentation including NDAs, contracts, declarations, and KYC.
Conduct periodic reviews and risk assessments of vendors.
Audit & Risk Management
Handle internal and external audits related to vendor management.
Ensure timely closure of audit observations and implementation of corrective actions.
Maintain audit trails and documentation for all vendor-related activities.
Process Improvement & Tool Implementation
Identify gaps and suggest improvements in vendor management processes.
Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance VMT efficiency.
Collaborate with IT and procurement teams for system upgrades and automation.
Contract & SLA Management
Review and manage vendor contracts, ensuring inclusion of key clauses such as indemnity, confidentiality, termination, etc.
Monitor vendor performance against defined SLAs and KPIs.
Address non-compliance and initiate corrective actions.
Stakeholder Management
Liaise with internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Procurement, Compliance) for smooth vendor operations.
Act as a point of contact for vendor queries and escalations.
Build strong relationships with strategic vendors.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 8-12 years of experience in vendor management, preferably in BFSI or large enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of vendor onboarding systems and lifecycle management.
Experience in handling audits and compliance-related activities.
Familiarity with contract management, SLA frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.
Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and vendor management tools.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
