Further, you will employ industry-leading continuous integration, delivery, and deployment patterns while collaboratively working with peers to execute them towards successful solutions. This role is hands-on development and operations and will be committing code to repositories daily. Your Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for understanding and implementing solutions to meet desired business outcomes and standards sustainablyResponsible for design, deployment, and support automation of continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline operations per account and organizational requirementsParticipate in design, build, and on-call support of various cloud, container, and on-premises platforms through standalone and integration operationsStrategize, review, design, and implement safe, secure, scalable, and easily maintained IT infrastructure for the organization and clientsResponsible for ensuring that operational and service level agreements are operationally met through SLI and SLO monitoring, analysis, and incident responsesParticipate in planning team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities plus proactive support thereofSkills, Knowledge and Expertise4+ years of professional site reliability career experience1+ years of experience using agile methodologies; Git source code versioning and Pull RequestsExperience with a scripting language like Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, Ruby, PHP, or SmashTestExperience with automation platforms tools like TravisCI, CircleCI, Jenkins, or GitLabCIExperience with cloud providers like Amazon Web services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Experience with container and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShiftExperience with Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) and configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltExperience with monitoring, APM, and alerting tools like Newrelic, Pingdom, or PagerdutyExperience with twelve-factor development methodology for building software-as-a-service applicationsAbility to automate tasks using a scripting languageAbility to use shell extensively and use regular expressions comfortablyStrong communication skills and ability to partner across organizations Good To HaveCertifications: Amazon Web Services and/or Kubernetes AdministratorExperience with Governance best practices and DEVSECOPS methodologiesFamiliar with the 3factor application architecture patternGet’s the big pictureExperience in managing multiple priorities and competing demands What Would Success Look Like For You?As a Senior Software Engineer, success means maintaining system availability, scalability, and reliability through proactive monitoring, automation, and incident management.
