Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software applications and systems.
• Identify and document defects, tracking them to resolution.
• Design, develop, and execute Test Cases and Test Scenarios, using Test Management Tools for test case creation, execution, and reporting.
• Collaborate effectively with different teams and adapt to new challenges.
• Participate in requirement gathering, design, and specification reviews to design test plans and conditions.
• Perform manual testing on custom mobile applications using Android and iOS Emulators.
• Conduct manual API testing, identifying and reporting issues.
• Execute migration test cases and identify associated issues and risks.
• Identify edge case scenarios and perform exploratory testing on critical applications.
• Conduct database testing, understand database queries, and execute SQL queries.
• Have the ability to identify performance testing scenarios and conduct performance tests using open-source tools.
• Exposure to Accessibility Testing Approach and generating Accessibility reports using both manual testing and Automation tools (e.g., Wave, Lighthouse, etc.).
  
  
  

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing of custom mobile applications using Android and iOS emulators.
• Strong understanding and experience in API testing, including manual API testing.
• Knowledge and understanding of migration testing.
• Proficiency in exploratory testing and identifying edge case scenarios.
• Knowledge and experience in database testing concepts, including understanding database queries and executing SQL queries.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and their application in mobile application testing.
• Strong knowledge of security testing, including OWASP standards and vulnerability scans using open-source tools.
• Experience in performance testing and identifying performance testing scenarios using open-source tools.
• Understanding and exposure to the Accessibility Testing Approach, including generating accessibility reports using manual testing and automation tools such as Wave and Lighthouse.

Good To Have (OPTIONAL)

• Experience with specific testing tools or frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
• Experience in API automation
• Experience in functional test automation( Cypress, Selenium)
• Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
