NY Security Officer (Bronx, NY)

Description

AX9 Security, Inc. is seeking a reliable Unarmed School Security Officer for an elementary school located in the Bronx, NY. This is a per diem position for officers who are available to pick up shifts as needed. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors while demonstrating patience and professionalism in a school setting.

 

Shift: 7 AM - 5 PM

Position Type: Per Diem / On-Call

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and secure school grounds and entry points

• Greet and assist staff, students, and visitors in a courteous manner

• Maintain a visible presence to deter inappropriate behavior

• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or security concerns

• Complete detailed daily reports and incident logs

• Collaborate with school administrators and staff on safety procedures

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and active New York State Guard Card

• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional

• Must be able to work around children and demonstrate patience and maturity

• Previous school or educational security experience preferred

• Must be able to stand for long periods and conduct patrols as needed

• Must have a reliable method of transportation
