Job Description:
Technical/Functional Skills This is a strategic and highly critical role focusing on the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon’s utility computing web services within strategic Enterprise accounts. The role should represent AWS in face-to-face meetings and own the overall technical relationship between AWS and the customer.
* Deep technical skill in infrastructure, software architecture and cloud computing
* Customer facing skills, ideally gained in presales or consultancy roles, allowing them to represent AWS in discussions with senior personnel
* Demonstrated ability to think strategically about solutions to business, product, and technical challenges.
* Awareness of technology trends and how they impact the way businesses consume IT
Primary Skills:
* Experience in the design and implementation of solutions (including scalable cloud-based solutions and micro services architectures)
* Experience with automation to deploy and manage infrastructure, database and networking architectures for Internet-scale applications
* Experience in Migrating applications, databases and storage systems to AWS from Enterprise On-premises infrastructure
* Experience with setting up AWS networking fundamentals such as VPC, Subnets, security Groups, DHCP, Route 53 DNS etc.
* Strong experience with AWS Security best practices and setting up end to end security model for AWS based Architecture.
* Strong understanding of AWS Data analytics and DWH tooling and its environment built and provisioning involving Glue, EMR, Athena, Redshift spectrum etc.
* Strong Hands-on S3, EC2, RDS, EFS, Lambda and other serverless
* Understanding of Kubernetes framework
* Good to have EKS knowledge
* Clear concept on microservice architecture
* Strong programming skills in Python or any other language.
* Experience in Devops orchestration tools like Git, Jenkins, Ansible
Secondary Skills:
* Understanding of security concepts such Active Directory, LDAP, SSO/SAML, Linux / SQL Server/Oracle service accounts
* Understanding of Agile concepts and tools such as Rally, Jira and Confluence
* Good communication skills and ability to identify dependencies
* Ability to support and influence cloud and on-premises integrations / platforms
* Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools
