Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong emphasis on AWS and some knowledge on GCP
• Proven expertise in designing and deploying enterprise-grade solutions on AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS, IAM, CloudFormation)
• Exposure to GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and GKE
• Deep understanding of data platforms, analytics workloads, and cloud-native design patterns
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Strong grasp of security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments
• Proven ability to onboard users and teams to cloud platforms in a secure and scalable manner
• Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
• Proactive approach, relentlessness to get the job done, and high sense of urgency
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certification
-GCP Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect certification
-Any experience in setting up Databricks in AWS environment

Job Description
A Fortune 50 client is looking for an AWS/GCP Platform Architect to come join their Enterprise Data and Analytics Platform to lead the design and onboarding of cloud-native data and analytics solutions. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of PepsiCo’s cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on AWS architecture and complementary exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable, secure, and high-performance platforms that power this client’s global data strategy. This role will help in onboarding internal users to our AWS and GCP Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments. This role is critical to enabling scalable, secure, and efficient data and analytics capabilities across the organization. You’ll be part of a high-impact team driving this client’s cloud transformation, working closely with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless platform adoption and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the architecture and onboarding of data and analytics workloads on AWS, with integration points into GCP
• Serve as the primary AWS platform architect, guiding infrastructure design, security, and scalability
• Provide technical leadership across platform engineering, data engineering, and analytics teams
• Define and enforce best practices for cloud architecture, security, scalability, and cost optimization
• Collaborate with GCP architects to ensure interoperability and hybrid cloud strategies
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies for cloud innovation
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Enterprise Data and Analytics Platform team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define onboarding workflows, access controls, and automation strategies
• Maintain documentation and best practices for platform usage, governance, and compliance
• Support migration efforts from legacy systems to cloud-native platforms
