Primary Job Title: Cloud Data Engineer (AWS)
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS-based ETL and data ingestion pipelines into S3 and the data lake.
- Develop, optimize and maintain Glue and PySpark/Spark jobs for batch and near-real-time processing.
- Build, manage and tune Amazon Redshift data warehouses and transform datasets for analytics consumption.
- Author and operationalize Apache Airflow DAGs to orchestrate pipelines, enforce SLAs and handle retries.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD for data platform deployments; automate testing and release workflows.
- Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot production incidents, and implement performance and cost optimizations using AWS monitoring tools.
