🚀 Hiring: AWS Technical Lead (Data Engineering & Platform Delivery)

🔎 Role Overview
We are looking for an AWS Technical Lead to drive delivery of data engineering and platform solutions within our Data Mesh ecosystem. This role will bridge architecture and implementation, ensuring best practices in coding, DevOps, governance, and production operations.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
⚙️ Engineering & Delivery
✅ Lead development of scalable pipelines using:
• Amazon Web Services services (Glue, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Lake Formation)
✅ Implement serverless and microservices-based solutions
✅ Develop APIs using:
• Amazon API Gateway
✅ Implement streaming pipelines using:
• Amazon Kinesis
• Apache Kafka
✅ Work with Databricks for Lakehouse processing
🚀 DevOps & Platform
✅ Implement CI/CD pipelines using:
• GitHub Actions
✅ Work with IaC tools:
• Terraform / Pulumi
✅ Containerize workloads using:
• Docker
• AWS Fargate
✅ Ensure integration of DevSecOps tools:
• SonarQube
• Black Duck
• JFrog
🔐 Governance & Security
✅ Implement data governance controls using:
• AWS Lake Formation
✅ Ensure data protection (masking, encryption, access control)
✅ Work with IAM roles, VPC networking, and secure deployments
📊 Operations & Reliability
✅ Monitor production systems using CloudWatch and observability tools
✅ Handle incident management, RCA, and stabilization
✅ Ensure performance tuning and cost optimization
🤝 Leadership & Collaboration
✅ Lead a team of Data Engineers and DevOps Engineers
✅ Translate architecture into implementation
✅ Collaborate with Product Owner, Architect, and stakeholders
✅ Drive transition activities (KT, reverse KT, stabilization)
✅ Ensure proper documentation, code standards, and best practices
🎯 Must-Have Skills
✔ Strong hands-on AWS data engineering and DevOps experience
✔ Experience leading engineering teams
✔ Strong knowledge of serverless and microservices architecture
✔ API Gateway, Kinesis, Kafka experience
✔ Databricks hands-on experience
✔ CI/CD and IaC expertise
✔ Strong debugging, monitoring, and production support skills
✔ Experience in enterprise data governance
