About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Backend Developer with over 6 years of experience to join our dynamic cloud engineering team at IntraEdge. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems on AWS. This role requires a deep understanding of serverless architectures, microservices, and cloud security best practices. As an integral part of our team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA, product managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions that drive our clients' digital transformation initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include building RESTful APIs, integrating various AWS services, ensuring security compliance, and troubleshooting production systems. You will also lead proof-of-concept projects to evaluate new AWS tools and frameworks, contributing to the continuous evolution of our cloud capabilities. Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 6+ years of experience in backend development and cloud application engineering.
- Proficiency with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and IAM.
- Strong coding skills in Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Python.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
- Deep understanding of serverless and microservices architectures.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS and DevOps tools.
- Knowledge of AWS security best practices, including IAM roles, encryption, and secure authentication mechanisms.

- Excellent analytical, debugging, and system troubleshooting skills.
Communication
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- AWS certifications (Associate or Professional level) are highly desirable.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with system design, scalable architectures, and high-availability systems.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services utilizing AWS cloud technologies to meet business requirements.
- Create scalable and secure RESTful APIs and event-driven services to facilitate seamless integrations.
- Develop, deploy, and manage solutions using core AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, and SNS.
- Implement AWS security best practices, including IAM roles and policies, data encryption, and secure authentication mechanisms to ensure compliance and data integrity.
- Design and maintain serverless and microservices-based architectures to ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, product managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that align with project goals.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to AWS infrastructure and backend services to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Lead and participate in proof-of-concept projects to evaluate new AWS services, tools, and backend frameworks, fostering innovation within the team.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, code, and deployment processes to ensure knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.
