About the role

We are a prominent and growing Personal Injury Law Firm in Newport Beach and are seeking highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individuals to join our litigation department as a Legal Discovery Clerk.

The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment. This role is ideal for law students with full time work availability or post-bar clerks - discovery experience is required.

Responsibilities:

Propounding and responding to written discovery.
Drafting meet and confer letters, notice of deposition, and various documents related to litigation discovery.
Provide support to attorneys, including contacting clients, calendaring events, reviewing materials, and drafting correspondence.

Qualifications:

Prior work experience at a personal injury law firm is highly preferred, but we will consider other areas of law.
Prior experience with written discovery is required.
Strong writing skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and handle a high volume of work.
Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and complete tasks on time.
Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.
