Job Title: AVP/ VP Content Lead, PMCI
Location: Urmi Estate, Lower Parel, Mumbai
Experience Required: 12+ years
Role Overview
This is a senior leadership role at the intersection of strategy, partnerships, and revenue growth. You will be responsible for unlocking new business, building high-value content partnerships across platforms and production ecosystems, and shaping content-led solutions that drive scalable revenue.
The role requires a strong blend of commercial instinct and strategic thinking. You should be able to identify market opportunities, structure them into compelling content propositions, and convert them into long-term, partnership-driven engagements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Revenue Stewardship
• Revenue Ownership: Deeply understand and own annual revenue targets, proactively identifying and activating diverse monetization avenues to ensure consistent agency growth.
• Pipeline Mastery: Own and drive the new business pipeline across priority sectors, leading end-to-end pitch processes with differentiated, content-first thinking.
• Commercial Engineering: Own commercials, negotiations, and deal structuring, converting opportunities into long-term engagements rather than one-off campaigns.
2. Strategic Content & IP Development
• Persuasive Storytelling: Demonstrate mastery in ideation and narrative-led storytelling, with the ability to distill complex, high-level concepts into persuasive presentations for CXOs and diverse audiences.
• IP Incubation: Conceptualize and build bespoke content IPs (series, formats, franchises, IRL experiences) that move beyond campaign thinking toward always-on content ecosystems.
• Cultural Relevance: Ensure all ideas are culturally relevant, platform-native, and built for maximum audience engagement and scroll-stopping impact.
3. Content Partnerships & Integration
• Ecosystem Orchestration: Identify and build partnerships where brands integrate meaningfully into content (Platforms, OTT, Publishers, and IP Owners).
• Native Integration: Structure branded content and co-created IPs, ensuring integrations are native to the content narrative and not forced placements.
• Scalable Frameworks: Build repeatable, data-backed frameworks for brand integration within content ecosystems that can be leveraged across the Groupe.
4. Impact & Performance Excellence
• Portfolio Authority: Consistently produce a significant and impactful body of work that serves as an industry benchmark and fulfills all key success criteria for both clients and the agency.
• Performance Accountability: Meet and exceed personal and team performance indicators, ensuring the team's output translates directly into measurable business results.
• People Leadership: Mentor and guide a high-performing team, fostering a culture of commercial accountability and creative excellence.
The Ideal Candidate
• Experience: 12+ years in Branded Content, Advertising Strategy, or Media Partnerships with a proven track record of managing high-value portfolios.
