We are seeking a
Full Stack Software Engineer to join our
Practice Management Technology organization . This role will focus on building innovative, secure, and scalable solutions that empower advisors and support home office operations through modern, self‑service digital platforms.
You will partner closely with Product, Design, Platform, and Operations teams to deliver integrated capabilities and foster engineering excellence in an open, innovative culture.
About The Role
This is a hands‑on, service‑oriented engineering role where you will own features end‑to‑end—from design and implementation to testing, deployment, observability, and production support. You will leverage
AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards of quality, security, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement full‑stack solutions using .NET/C#, Angular, AWS and database interactions using SQL.
- Build and maintain cloud‑native, containerized microservices architectures.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and best‑practice implementation aligned with LPL SDLC and RM processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Product, Design, Platform, Ops) to deliver high‑quality, integrated solutions.
- Identify opportunities for application and process improvements; contribute to platform roadmaps and technical documentation.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
What You Will Do (Key Capabilities)
Service‑Oriented APIs
- Design and implement REST/gRPC services using ASP.NET Core with clean architecture and domain‑driven principles.
- Implement resiliency and security patterns (retry, circuit breaker, idempotency, least privilege).
Modern Web Development
- Build responsive, accessible Angular (v16+) applications and MFEs using RxJS and modern UI patterns.
- Integrate front‑end applications with backend services using typed clients.
AI‑Accelerated Engineering
- Use AI developer tools to accelerate code generation, refactoring, testing, documentation, and reviews (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, CodeWhisperer).
- Apply human judgment and engineering standards to ensure correctness and security.
- Demonstrate measurable improvements in delivery efficiency and quality.
Full SDLC Ownership
- Author unit, integration, and E2E tests (xUnit/NUnit, Testcontainers, Playwright/Cypress).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated quality and security gates.
- Instrument applications with logging, metrics, tracing, and operational dashboards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands‑on full‑stack software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing complex, distributed systems.
- Strong experience with .NET/C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, AWS, SQL & NoSQL.
- 5+ years of AWS cloud development and deployment experience, including EKS, RDS/Aurora, S3, Athena, Glue, and EventBridge.
- Experience building ETL and data pipelines from structured and unstructured sources.
Required Tools & Platforms
- Git‑based source control and pull‑request workflows.
- Agile tools such as Jira (or equivalent).
- CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- API testing tools such as Postman.
- Code quality and security tools such as SonarQube/SonarLint and Snyk.
- AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot/Copilot Chat, Cursor, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
- Containerization and orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in financial services, wealth management, or asset management.
- Reporting and data experience; Python (PySpark/NumPy) a plus.
- Experience with observability, feature‑flagging, and production support in regulated environments.
