Role ObjectiveDrive sales and market expansion for Investement Management Platform – an Order Management & Fund Accounting platform catering to AIFs, PMS, Wealth Managers, and Asset Management Companies in India.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Sales- Drive end-to-end sales of Genesis across:
- AIF (Cat I, II, III)
- PMS providers
- Wealth & asset managers
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects (₹1000 Cr – ₹10,000+ Cr AUM clients)
- Identify decision-makers (CIOs, COOs, Fund Managers, Operations Heads)
2. Client Engagement & Solution Selling- Understand client pain points across:
- Fund Accounting
- Order Management
- Custodian dependency
- Compliance & reporting
- Position Genesis as:
- Independent alternative to custodian-led accounting
- Front-to-back office integrated solution
- Conduct basic level of product demos and solution walkthroughs
3. Market Intelligence & Strategy- Track:
- AIF/PMS launches
- SEBI regulations
- Competitor platforms
- Build target account strategy for top 50–100 firms
- Provide feedback to product team on market gaps and enhancements
4. Relationship Management- Build relationships with:
- Fund Managers
- COO / Operations teams
- Custodians and administrators
- Create long-term strategic partnerships rather than transactional sales
5. Deal Closure & Revenue Ownership- Own complete sales cycle:
- Lead generation → Demo → Proposal → Closure
- Handle commercial negotiations and contract discussions
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
Ideal Candidate ProfileExperience- 10 – 15 years in:
- PMS / AIF / Asset Management / Wealth Management
- OR selling fintech / SaaS solutions to financial institutions
Strong Preference Background- Experience with:
- Fund Accounting
- Custody operations
- OMS / PMS platforms
- Prior exposure to ICICI Bank custody / HDFC Bank custody / Axis Bank custody ecosystem or firms like Motilal Oswal Financial Services, IIFL Finance, Edelweiss Financial Services
