Own end-to-end delivery for a portfolio of 15โ20 US real estate clients.
Lead large teams across AP, AR, GL, CAM Reconciliations, Fund Accounting, Bank Reconciliations, and Month-End Close.
Drive profitability, operational excellence, process transformation, and automation initiatives.
Build strong client relationships and lead governance reviews.
Champion compliance, controls, audit readiness, and process standardization.
Focused mainly on month-end close and accounting projects (typical GL accounting functions)
Possibly some quarter end disclosures, but not really a reporting requirement position
Looking for process improvement and automation
Required Qualifications and Senior Manager

No CPA Designation

Director Level: Someone people from Big 4 if we donโt but probably needs real estate expertise
Need to have supervising accounting team from a technical perspective.

16+ years of progressive accounting experience.
8โ10+ ๐ฒ๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ฑ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง๐๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ.
Strong expertise in US GAAP, Property Accounting, CAM Reconciliations, Fund Accounting, and Financial Operations.
Hands-on experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar Real Estate Accounting platforms.
Proven experience managing multi-client portfolios with P&L accountability.
Strong stakeholder management, governance, and transformation leadership skills.

๐ CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent (Mandatory)
๐ Lean Six Sigma, Yardi, MRI, or Process Excellence certifications are a plus
