Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Vice President (AVP) in Investment Banking, based in Kolkata. The AVP will be responsible for creating complex financial models, conducting in-depth due diligence, delivering strategic corporate advisory solutions, and managing client relationships. Duties also include providing support for mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other investment banking activities. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Modeling and strong expertise in corporate Finance principles
- In-depth knowledge of Investment Banking practices and experience in conducting Due Diligence
- Excellent Analytical Skills to evaluate financial and business data effectively
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
- Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Industry certifications such as CFA, CA, or equivalent are advantageous
- Prior experience in infrastructure financing or corporate advisory will be a plus
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality results
