Why this role is valuable
The Associate Vice President of Global Communications is responsible for coordinating and executing comprehensive communications initiatives to support the organization's global communications objectives. This role will work closely with the Global Communications team in cross-functional strategy development and regularly coordinate with regional communications colleagues to ensure consistent messaging and branding across regions and manage the flow of information both internally and externally.
The AVP of Global Communications plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's image and ensuring that communication efforts are cohesive and effective on a global scale. This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
How you add value
- Develop and execute global communications strategies and campaigns that support business objectives
- Oversee global comms channels’ strategy and maintenance, including internal comms, intranet, website and social.
- Help standardize comms globally, coordinate with and provide resources to our global comms partners (communications calendar, global comms meetings, policies, templates, share best practices)
- Onboard new offices and comms colleagues
- Support global employee events, including three town halls a year
- Manage a large volume of communication initiatives simultaneously, meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Serve as India comms representative in collaborating on global comms, especially as it relates to our global newsletter and social channels
What You Bring to the Role
Required
- Minimum 7 years of experience in communications, PR, and/or branding
- Ability to build an effective network of relationships with key stakeholders;
- Experience developing and deploying effective internal communications strategies
- Strong ability to understand, clearly synthesize, and integrate complex issues in presentations, messaging documents and other communications with key audiences
- Relationship-driven, with an ability to work autonomously, while maintaining a coordinated approach with the Revantage communications team
- Creative project management experience with a passion for branding, writing, problem-solving and determination to succeed
- Strong understanding of traditional and social media
- Personal credibility in front of senior internal audiences
- Proven experience with digital content, branding and Web design
- Experience working in a global or agency environment a plus
- Experience with design software, email distribution platforms (e.g., Staffbase, Mailchimp, Poppulo, etc.) and content management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Prismic, etc) a plus
