Job Description – AVP, Engineering
We are looking for an experienced AVP – Engineering with strong full-stack development experience and strength in backend engineering to lead the design, development, and scalability of our technology platforms. The role requires hands-on technical leadership, strong architectural expertise, and the ability to build high-performing engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end application development across frontend and backend systems.
Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and APIs.
Drive engineering best practices across coding, architecture, CI/CD, and quality.
Mentor and manage engineering teams to ensure strong technical execution.
Collaborate with Product, Design, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
Requirements
10+ years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack expertise and backend strength.
5+ years in engineering leadership or people management roles.
Expertise in backend technologies such as Java, Golang, Node.js, or Python.
Experience with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, cloud platforms, databases, and DevOps practices.
Proven experience building scalable applications and leading engineering teams.
Exposure to AI-assisted coding and developer productivity tools such as Claude, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, Antigravity, or similar AI engineering platforms.
