Role: AVP, Cyber Security Architecture

We are looking to engage with seasoned Cyber Security professionals for an AVP – Security Architecture & Engineering role within a leading global financial services environment.
This role sits at the intersection of architecture, risk, and enterprise security strategy, driving secure-by-design principles across complex technology ecosystems.
Role Overview
As a Cyber Security Architect, you will be responsible for defining and governing enterprise-wide security architecture across cloud, applications, infrastructure, and data environments.
You will act as a trusted advisor to business and technology teams, ensuring that all solutions align with security standards, regulatory frameworks, and evolving risk landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain enterprise security architecture standards, patterns, and roadmaps
- Embed secure-by-design principles across cloud, on-prem, application, and data platforms
- Conduct architecture reviews, security assessments, and governance checks
- Ensure alignment with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR, RBI/SEBI guidelines
- Drive adoption of Zero Trust architecture and modern security practices
Provide SME leadership across:
- Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Endpoint & Workload Protection (EDR/XDR)
- Network Security & Segmentation
- Application & API Security
- Data Protection & Encryption
- Partner with cross-functional teams on solution design, vendor evaluation, and risk mitigation
- Ideal Candidate
- 8+ years of experience in Cyber / Information Security
- Strong expertise in enterprise security architecture and multi-domain security
- Hands-on exposure to modern security tools and cloud platforms
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable architectures
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM or Cloud Security Specializations are advantageous.
