About the Role
We are looking for a results-oriented professional to drive client acquisition and relationship management across the NBFC, MFI, lending, and insurance ecosystem. The role focuses on growing the Insurance Broking and Insurance Technology business through acquisition and management of large and mid-sized accounts, including NBFCs, MFIs, lending partners, and brokers.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Group Credit Life Insurance, strategic partnerships, account management, revenue growth, and stakeholder management in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new client acquisition across NBFCs, MFIs, lending institutions, and broker channels.
- Promote and sell Group Insurance Solutions, especially Group Credit Life products, along with Insurance Tech and B2C solutions.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to maximize revenue through new business, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Manage client relationships end-to-end, including onboarding, renewals, profitability, and long-term account growth.
- Collaborate with Product, Technology, Marketing, Operations, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery.
- Track market trends, competition, and opportunities within Group Life, Credit Life, General Insurance, and Insurance Technology sectors.
- Drive topline growth, margin optimization, and overall P&L performance of client accounts.
- Lead and mentor sales teams in senior-level roles to achieve business and revenue targets.
Key Requirements
- 8–15 years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales, Partnerships, or Relationship Management within Insurance, Insurance Tech, NBFC, MFI, or Financial Services sectors.
- Strong experience in Group Credit Life Insurance is mandatory.
- Proven experience in handling enterprise or institutional clients and engaging with senior stakeholders/decision-makers.
- Expertise in P&L management, team leadership, account management, and revenue ownership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
