Job Role: Avionics System Test Engineer – FMS
Work Experience: 3+ Years
Location: Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end system testing and validation for FMS and related avionics systems
- Conduct detailed flight test data analysis to evaluate system performance and behavior
- Validate functionality of navigation, communication, and control systems
- Design and execute test cases, test procedures, and validation scenarios
- Analyze system logs, identify anomalies, and perform root cause analysis
- Ensure compliance with DO-178B/C standards and aviation quality processes
- Collaborate with development, integration, and hardware teams for issue resolution and system improvements
- Support system integration testing and acceptance testing activities
- Document test results, prepare reports, and provide insights for continuous improvement
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 3–8 years of experience in avionics system testing or validation roles
- Hands-on experience in Flight Test Analysis
- Strong understanding of Flight Management Systems (FMS)
- Knowledge of avionics subsystems such as navigation and communication
- Familiarity with DO-178B/C standards and certification processes
- Experience using flight data analysis and debugging tools
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
