POSITION SUMMARY

In support of our mission, we are seeking a highly qualified and motivated adjunct instructor to teach in our on-ground degree program in the area of Business Law (course title is Legal Aspects of Business). The successful candidate will possess a combination of academic qualifications and professional experience to ensure our students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to excel in their chosen fields.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging course content that aligns with the program's learning objectives and outcomes in line with the provided syllabus (shell).
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, projects and participation.
• Provide regular and timely feedback connected to the course content that supports student learning and success.
• Maintain communication with students on a predictable and scheduled basis.
• Collaborate with other faculty members and administrators as needed to ensure the quality and consistency of the program.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to enhance the relevance of course content.
• Maintain accurate records of student teacher observations, evaluations, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with licensure requirements and accreditation standards related to student teaching placements.
• Assist in the coordination of programmatic assessments and evaluations to monitor the effectiveness of the student teaching program.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a regionally accredited institution required.
• Relevant professional experience in the legal field preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a strong commitment to student success
• Proficiency in using online learning management systems and tools
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
