Job Title: Avaloq Technical BA cum Developer
Location: Mumbai/Pune/Hyderabad/Delhi India (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full Time/Contract
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Avaloq Technical BA cum Developer (5–8 years) to join our team. This client-facing role combines software engineering leadership with business consulting. You will analyze business requirements, design solutions, and implement technical workflows within Avaloq, collaborating closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
This role may involve working with or supporting one of MatchPoint Solutions’ client organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write functional requirement specifications (FRS) and obtain sign-offs.
- Map requirements to Avaloq object models and workflows.
- Develop using Avaloq scripting, parameterization, workflow actions, DDIC, report writer, AMI/Web Services/API setups, and rules configuration.
- Work with SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Support Avaloq modules including STEX, security events/transactions, settlements, payments, and money transfers.
- Implement wealth management product flows (Cash EQ, AQDQ, structured products, bonds, funds).
- Configure SWIFT setups, corporate actions, advice/statements.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and testers.
- Troubleshoot Avaloq batch job issues.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5–8 years of Avaloq experience.
- Strong Avaloq programming skills (scripting, workflows, DDIC, AMI, rules setup).
- SQL and PL/SQL expertise.
- Knowledge of Avaloq modules (STEX, settlements, payments, security events).
- Wealth management product knowledge (cash, structured products, fixed income).
- Familiarity with SWIFT setups and corporate actions.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Preferred:
- Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) certification.
- Knowledge of KYC procedures, client onboarding/offboarding, suitability checks.
- Experience with SDA stream and CRM desk.
- Familiarity with Nomura IWM IT landscape.
