Avalon Memory Care is hiring a hands-on Executive Director to lead a 21-bed senior living community. This role is ideal for a bilingual (Spanish/English) leader passionate about memory care, team leadership, and resident-centered service.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee resident care, assessments, and care plans
Manage staff: hiring, scheduling, training, and performance
Ensure compliance with state regulations and life safety standards
Lead family communication, tours, and admissions
Handle daily operations, staffing, and community management
- Provide hands-on support and be on-call for emergencies
Qualifications
- 2+ years management experience (senior living, healthcare, or related)
Bilingual Spanish preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work 40+ hours on-site (non-remote)
- CNA/CMA a plus
Requirements
High School Diploma or higher
Valid driver’s license
Ability to meet physical job demands
- Must obtain Texas Assisted Living Manager certification within 2 months
