Commercial Counsel

As Avalara's in-house counsel, you will support enterprise and strategic partnership transactions. You'll handle complex deals from intake through signature and help scale how our legal team supports the business. This is a high-visibility role with impact across enterprise sales and business development. You will be an important partner to our growing enterprise sales team, and teams extending Avalara's reach through technology and other partnerships around the world. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys navigating complexity, building relationships, and keeping our goals in focus while providing clear legal advice You will report to the VP, Associate General Counsel. This is a remote position within the United States.
