Responsibilities
- ● Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, operate, and provide training on a wide variety of VC and AV Equipment and conference room operations.
- ● Maintain a working knowledge of all AV equipment’s.
- ● Carryout Daily routine work as per the daily activity's checklist and log calls as and when issue is reported or identified.
- ● Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for support during Organization events.
- ● Provide in-house support to other departments in terms of AV devices.
- ● Efficient in incident Management.
- ● Thorough knowledge of the practices, tools and terminology used in the repair and maintenance of audio-visual equipment’s.
- ● Set up audio visual equipment for special projects.
- ● Conducts test on audio visual equipment to determine operating efficiency.
- ● Requisition tools, supplies and equipment.
- ● Maintain inventory of parts and update periodically.
- ● Maintain records and makes reports which include daily check lists, high level weekly reports, AMC tracking sheet, inventory Management.
- ● May use computer application software in the performance of the job.
- ● Maintain help desk ticketing system, documenting all activities and resolution.
- ● Perform testing to ensure room/equipment is fully functional before designated meetings.
- ● Set up video conferences/teleconferences. In the case of multi-point conferences, liaise with the third-party bridging company. The job holder will stay in the room until all parties are connected to the conference and the local user is properly set up and conversant with the equipment controls.
Qualifications
- Must be able to travel to Devanahalli-Bangalore
- Must have clear and effective written and verbal English communication skills, as well as organizational and interpersonal abilities.
- Must have experience in servicing and/or installing systems in a client facing capacity with prior corporate support services experience w/strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Must always look/present well and communicate clearly and effectively to management and clients. Always presents a positive image of self and company.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Detail-oriented w/strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to think outside the box to solve complicated issues that may arise. Uses different tactics for resolving conflicts/issues before any escalation; follow approved escalation procedures when appropriate.
- Working knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office Suite, Mac OS, Networking protocols.
- Must have flexible schedule as overtime may be needed.
