About the Role
We are looking for a customer-focused and technically proficient AV Demonstration Specialist to lead the Experience Centre and deliver exceptional product demonstrations for premium Audio Visual (AV) and Home Automation solutions.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating immersive customer experiences, showcasing premium AV technologies, managing the Experience Centre, and supporting the sales team through technical consultations and solution demonstrations. This role requires strong product knowledge, excellent presentation skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Experience Centre, ensuring all demonstration systems are fully functional, presentation-ready, and maintained to premium showroom standards.
- Conduct engaging demonstrations of premium Audio Visual and Home Automation solutions, including Home Theatre, Stereo Hi-Fi, Multi-room Audio, Smart Home Automation, Acoustic Solutions, Outdoor Audio, and Streaming platforms.
- Understand customer requirements, lifestyle, and budget to recommend suitable AV solutions while delivering a premium consultation and demonstration experience.
- Explain technical features and product capabilities in a simple, customer-friendly manner and support customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of premium AV products, emerging technologies, and industry trends to effectively support customer consultations and internal discussions.
- Generate qualified sales opportunities from Experience Centre visitors, record customer interactions in the CRM, and coordinate timely follow-ups with the Sales Team and Key Account Managers.
- Plan and manage customer demonstrations, product launches, supplier training sessions, dealer events, and marketing activities hosted at the Experience Centre.
- Monitor demonstration inventory, coordinate equipment movement, ensure all display products remain operational and well-maintained, and report any equipment issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Design, Project, Installation, Marketing teams, and Brand Partners to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics, Audio Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in premium Audio Visual, Home Automation, or Experience Centre environments.
- Strong understanding of AV systems and premium audio solutions.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and customer engagement skills.
- Ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Customer-first mindset with a passion for premium technology and entertainment solutions.
