The ideal
candidate will have strong expertise in software architecture, microcontroller
programming, low-level driver configuration, and full-lifecycle software development
within the automotive domain. This role demands a deep understanding of AUTOSAR
Classic Platform, system-level design, and proficiency with modern development and
testing tools.
Key Responsibilities
Development and design of AUTOSAR BSW software for automotive
applications.
Configure and integrate AUTOSAR Basic Software modules such as MCAL,
COM, DIAG (DCM, DEM), MEMORY (NVM, EEPROM, FLS), and SYSTEM
SERVICES (EcuM, BswM, ComM).
Collaborate with system architects, software engineers, and hardware teams to
define and validate software architecture and requirements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 26262, MISRA C, and
ASPICE.
Utilize tools such as EB Tresos, Vector DaVinci, AUTOSAR Builder, Rhapsody,
and Enterprise Architect for software design and configuration.
Support the integration and testing phases, including unit and integration testing
of AUTOSAR components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system engineers, software
developers, and test engineers to ensure design compliance and integration
feasibility.
Develop and configure Complex Device Drivers (CDDs) and BSW modules.
Perform AUTOSAR RTE & OS configuration including task scheduling, mapping,
and event handling.
Configure and integrate memory, diagnostics (DCM, DEM), communication
stacks (CAN, SPI, PDUR), and MCAL modules.

Lead and support debugging activities using advanced techniques and tools such
as CANoe, Trace32 or Lauterbach.
Write and maintain scripts (Python/CAPL) for automation and simulation
purposes.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements and best
practices.
Required Qualifications
6-10 years of experience in automotive embedded software development.
Strong proficiency in Embedded C and scripting languages
In-depth understanding of AUTOSAR Classic Platform BSW
Hands-on experience with microcontrollers(e.g., RH850, STM32, Traveo II) and
low-level driver configuration (I2C, UART, SPI, ADC, etc.).
Familiar with tools such as EB Tresos, Vector DaVinci Developer/Configurator,
CANoe, Enterprise Architect, Trace32
Experienced in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile
methodologies (e.g., SAFe), and requirement management tools like DOORS.
Familiarity with diagnostics (DCM, DEM), Memory stacks (NVM/EEPROM), and
system services (EcuM, BswM).
