📄 Job Description: AUTOSAR 4.5 BSW COM Development Engineer
🔹 Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled AUTOSAR BSW COM Development Engineer with strong expertise in communication stack development (Ethernet, SOME/IP, J1939, CAN FD) and hands-on experience in C++ development. The ideal candidate should have experience working in ASPICE-compliant environments. Exposure to ADAS domains (Video/Radar systems) is highly desirable.
🔹 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Electronics / Electrical / Computer Science / Automotive Engineering
🔹 Experience Range
- 3 to 9 years of relevant automotive embedded development experience
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate AUTOSAR 4.5 Basic Software (BSW) modules.
- Develop and maintain AUTOSAR Communication Stack (COM) including:
- COM, PduR, CanIf, CanTp
- Ethernet stack (EthIf, SoAd, SOME/IP)
- Implement and optimize communication protocols such as:
- CAN, CAN FD, J1939, Ethernet, SOME/IP
- Collaborate on BSW configuration and integration using tools like DaVinci / EB Tresos.
- Develop embedded software using C++ (and Embedded C where required).
- Perform debugging and validation using tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, Wireshark, Trace32.
- Work closely with system, application, and hardware teams to ensure seamless ECU integration.
- Follow ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) processes across the software lifecycle.
- Analyze and resolve communication-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
- Ensure compliance with AUTOSAR standards and automotive quality guidelines.
🔹 Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in AUTOSAR Classic Platform (4.x, preferably 4.5).
- Hands-on experience in BSW COM stack development.
- In-depth understanding of:
- COM, PduR, CanIf, CanTp
- Ethernet stack (EthIf, SoAd, SOME/IP)
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols:
- CAN, CAN FD, J1939, Ethernet
- Strong programming skills in C++ (mandatory).
- Experience with AUTOSAR tools: Vector DaVinci, EB Tresos, or similar.
- Experience with debugging tools: CANoe, CANalyzer, Trace32, Wireshark.
- Familiarity with ASPICE development process.
- Understanding of AUTOSAR architecture and ECU software integration.
🔹 Good to Have (Preferred Skills)
- Experience in ADAS domain (Radar / Camera / Video processing ECUs).
- Exposure to Adaptive AUTOSAR / SOME/IP-based communication.
- Knowledge of DoIP (Diagnostics over IP).
- Understanding of ISO 26262 Functional Safety concepts.
- Experience with bootloader or ECU flashing.
