Role Description This full-time, on-site Automotive Service Advisor role is based in Vapi and involves being the primary point of contact for customers visiting the service center. The Service Advisor will greet customers, understand their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service requests. The role includes coordinating with technicians, explaining recommended repairs, providing service estimates, and ensuring timely completion of work. The Service Advisor will update customers on service progress, handle queries, and support resolution of any issues to maintain high customer satisfaction. Daily responsibilities also include managing service appointments, maintaining records, and supporting overall efficiency of the service operations.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills with a focus on Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction.
- Technical understanding of Vehicle Maintenance and Automotive Repair to communicate service needs clearly.
- Effective Communication abilities for explaining technical information in simple terms and coordinating with the service team.
- Prior experience in an automotive service center or dealership environment is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, manage multiple service orders, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic computer skills for using service management software and maintaining accurate records.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or automotive-related certification is an advantage.
- Professional, courteous demeanor and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
