Role Description
This is a contract role for an Automobile Electrical Senior Engineer specializing in Telematics and CAN Vehicle systems. The role is based on-site at our Mumbai location. The responsibilities include designing electrical systems, working on telematics and CAN integrations, overseeing power distribution and systems, and ensuring efficient electrical engineering practices to support vehicle operations. The engineer will collaborate with Vendors & External Software team in Intigration & Implementation phase teams to ensure innovative, sustainable solutions for vehicle electrification. The role involves designing and developing advanced automotive electrical systems, with a focus on telematics and vehicle-to-vehicle communication (CAN). Key responsibilities include creating and refining electrical designs, ensuring efficient power distribution and system functionality, and troubleshooting electrical systems to meet industry standards. The role also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to support project implementations and improve system performance.

Qualifications
• Proficiency in Electrical Design and foundational knowledge of Electricity concepts.
• Expertise in Electrical Engineering with practical experience in Power Distribution and Power Systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively on specialized projects.
• Strong understanding of Telematics and Controller Area Network (CAN) system design and implementation.
• Relevant educational background, such as a degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Prior experience in the automobile and energy sectors is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in an on-site environment and deliver results within project timelines.
