About this opportunity:
The Automation Transformation Lead (Service Delivery Management) designs and oversees automation solutions to improve delivery scopes. This role contributes to automation strategy, identifies opportunities, plans development, manages cross-functional virtual teams, and engages stakeholders. The position leads organization-wide automation transformation and provides timely analytics to guide decisions.
What you will do:
Work with developers from delivery or central teams to develop automations based on a thorough understanding of delivery requirements, existing capabilities, and business benefits.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes by seeking out automation scopes and solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Take ownership of prioritization and delivery of work aligned with stakeholder requirements and the pipeline of requests.
Provide support and training on newly developed automations to improve efficiency and free up time for requestors.
Drive and track operationalization and reuse of developed automations across deliveries. Transform all deliveries to achieve more than 60% of work through automation, ensuring every new project begins with this benchmark.
Report and present error-free data from a data integrity perspective, questioning base data from external sources wherever necessary. Maintain audits and checkpoints to ensure ongoing data integrity.
Contribute directly through day-to-day actions to formal business reporting and, indirectly, to strategic decision-making.
Improve the GSD Automation framework in collaboration with software experts and design the GSD Automation strategy alongside key stakeholders.
The skills you bring:
Industry Experience: Relevant experience in process automation as a Business Analyst, Automation Lead, or Solution Architect. Background in telecom service delivery is an advantage.
Practical exposure in coding and automation development, with hands-on experience in service delivery, data analytics, and leading transformation initiatives.
Short-term focus on automating internal processes and driving delivery teams toward greater automation adoption; long-term vision of achieving significant efficiency gains through AI.
Proven experience in automation development, primarily Python-based.
Strong IT knowledge covering TCP/IP, connectivity, data transfer methods, and APIs.
Years of Experience: 10+ years’ experience in service delivery in driving automation transformation and development
Good knowledge of Cloud and server setup environments.
Transformation mindset, design thinking approach, collaborative nature, and strong project management skills.
Expertise in automation technologies, Python, data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), process automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate),
Competence and exposure to AI/ML & Generative AI solution dev and usage.
Strong project management
Excellent ability to influence decision makers and operational teams
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ECE/CSE/IT) or equivalent
