We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineering Automation Tester with strong expertise in Cypress, API/Microservices backend automation, Selenium, and Python automation frameworks.

Location: Bengaluru
Notice period: Immediate / 30 days
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work as part of an Agile/Scrum feature team consisting of developers, testers, and technical specialists.
- Plan and execute end-to-end testing activities including test script development, execution, and defect tracking.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and Test Managers to define test scenarios and testing requirements.
- Design and develop Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Data, and Test Reports.
- Perform functional, integration, technical, and deployment testing.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks for web applications and REST APIs.
- Execute detailed functional and automation test cases for complex business requirements.
- Perform API and Microservices backend automation testing.
- Identify process improvements and optimization opportunities to enhance delivery quality.
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, testing frameworks, and project timelines.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues effectively with stakeholders.
- Work proactively in ambiguous environments while identifying and mitigating risks.
Mandatory Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
- Strong experience in Cypress Automation Testing.
- Expertise in API Testing and Microservices backend automation.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Python automation.
- Experience in REST API testing and Web Services testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Manual Testing processes.
- Experience in test case design and automation execution.
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow or Python Behave.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong defect management and reporting experience.
