Automation Engineer to manage premium residential and commercial automation projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in programming, configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project execution of smart home systems.
The candidate will work closely with clients, architects, interior designers, vendors, and installation teams to ensure smooth delivery of high-end automation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, configure, and commission home automation systems.
- Execute smart home and AV automation projects from planning to handover.
- Manage on-site project execution and coordination with electricians, contractors, and clients.
- Configure and integrate:
- Lighting Control Systems
- Curtain Automation
- HVAC Automation
- Audio-Video Systems
- Security & Surveillance Systems
- Smart Door Locks & Video Door Phones
- Networking & Wi-Fi Systems
- Perform system troubleshooting, testing, and post-installation support.
- Prepare technical documentation, BOQs, wiring diagrams, and project reports.
- Ensure projects are delivered within timelines and quality standards.
- Handle client training and system demonstrations after project completion.
- Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for technical support and updates.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support whenever required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Home Automation / Smart Home Industry.
- Strong knowledge of automation platforms such as:
- Control4
- KNX
- Crestron
- Lutron
- RTI
- HDL
- Savant or similar systems
- Hands-on experience in:
- Programming & Configuration
- System Integration
- Networking Fundamentals
- AV Integration
- Project Management
- Ability to read electrical layouts and technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and client-handling abilities.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects.
