Role Description The Automation Sales Team role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ludhiana. The team member will identify sales opportunities for automation solutions, engage with customers, and present suitable products and services to meet their needs. Daily responsibilities include prospecting new clients, managing existing accounts, preparing quotations, conducting product demonstrations, and coordinating with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and installation. The role also involves maintaining accurate sales records, tracking market trends, and supporting marketing activities to drive business growth in the automation segment. Collaboration with colleagues and clear communication with customers are essential to achieving sales targets and maintaining long-term relationships.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, client engagement, and negotiation.
- Knowledge of building materials, automation products, or related construction technologies.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into practical automation solutions.
- Proficient communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Basic computer literacy, including use of CRM tools, email, and spreadsheet applications.
- Proven ability to work on-site, manage time effectively, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in sales, particularly in building materials, electrical, or automation sectors, is an advantage.
