Job Title: Senior Associate – Automation QA (BDD Framework)
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled
Automation QA – Senior Associate with 3–5 years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in
BDD frameworks, Cucumber, and TestNG, along with a solid understanding of functional testing and Agile methodologies. The role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using BDD approach (Cucumber)
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and TestNG
- Translate functional requirements and user stories into BDD scenarios (Gherkin format)
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to ensure complete test coverage
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
- Execute regression, integration, and system-level automated test suites
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and execution activities across releases
- Ensure adherence to SDLC/Agile processes and quality standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of test automation frameworks and processes
Required Skills & Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Automation Testing
- Strong programming knowledge in Java
- Hands-on experience with:
- BDD Frameworks (Cucumber)
- TestNG
- Selenium WebDriver (UI automation)
- Experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC methodologies
- Experience with test scenario design, execution, and defect tracking
- Exposure to tools such as JIRA / ALM / Xray or similar
- Basic knowledge of SQL / database validation

- Experience in Financial Services domain
- Exposure to:
- API automation (Rest Assured)
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Performance testing concepts (basic)
- Knowledge of test data management and environment handling
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
