Job Title: Playwright Automation Engineer
Experience: 5+ Years
Location: Offshore – Remote / Hybrid (Indore, Noida, Gurgaon)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM IST
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Playwright Automation Engineer with strong experience in test automation using Selenium and Playwright. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, CI/CD integration, and end-to-end testing across UI, API, and database layers.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium
- Write and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Perform API testing and validate backend systems
- Conduct database testing using SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA
- Optimize automation scripts for performance, reliability, and scalability
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience in software testing with strong automation focus (Selenium)
- Strong hands-on experience in Playwright framework
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Strong experience in API testing and integration testing
- Solid knowledge of database testing and SQL
- Experience with version control tools (Git) and defect tracking tools (JIRA)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Good to Have Skills:- Experience with Docker and Azure Cloud
- Exposure to Angular applications testing
- Experience with BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
- Knowledge of performance or visual regression testing
- Familiarity with test management tools (TestRail, JIRA, etc.)
- Experience integrating automation into GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps pipelines
