Job Duties & Responsibilities:
PLC Programming & Control Systems
· Develop, program, and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs (S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200, S7-1500)
· Work on Safety PLCs (S7-1200F / S7-1500F)
· Programming in:
- Ladder Logic (LAD)
- Functional Block Diagram (FBD)
- Structured Control Language (SCL)
· Exposure to Allen Bradley PLCs (MicroLogix 500, CompactLogix/ControlLogix 5000 series)
Drives & Motion Control
- Experience working with:
- Siemens SINAMICS S120
- SINAMICS G120
- SINAMICS S210
- Configuration, parameterization, and commissioning of drives
Expertise in:
- Servo control
- VFD applications
- Motion control and multi-axis synchronization
- Knowledge of kinematics (robotics, gantry, pick & place systems) will be an added advantage
HMI / SCADA Development
- Design and develop visualization systems using:
- Siemens WinCC Professional
- WinCC SCADA
- Unified & Comfort Panels
- Wonderware InTouch HMI
- Develop user-friendly interfaces, alarms, trending, and reporting systems
System Integration & Commissioning
- End-to-end automation project handling:
- System design
- Panel FAT/SAT
- Site commissioning
- Integration of PLC, HMI, drives, and third-party devices
- Troubleshooting during commissioning and production
Documentation
- Prepare:
- Functional Design Specifications (FDS)
- IO lists
- Control philosophy documents
- Operation manuals
Job Skills, Education & Work Experiences:
- Motion control & kinematics expertise
- Experience in robotics / special-purpose machines (SPM)
- Exposure to Industry 4.0 concepts
- Knowledge of safety standards and implementation
- Minimum 4+ years in industrial automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics Engineering

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Good communication and teamwork
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Global Support & Travel
- Provide remote and on-site support for USA-based projects
- Willingness to travel (short-term & long-term assignments)
- Coordinate with global engineering and customer teams across time zones
