Job Role: Automation Engineer (Playwright & Cypress) - AI Systems
Experience: 8 to 12 Years
Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and Cypress
- Build robust UI and API automation test suites for scalable applications
- Define and execute test strategies for AI-powered and Agentic AI systems
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and AI engineering teams
- Analyze defects, identify root causes, and improve overall product quality
- Enhance automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts
- Participate in code reviews and promote QA best practices
- Continuously improve automation framework scalability, reliability, and maintainability
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Software Testing and Automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Cypress
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of UI and API testing methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
- Understanding of Agile development and QA processes
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
