Position Summary
We are looking for an Automation Engineer / Senior Engineer to support automation initiatives across manufacturing environments, with a preference for injection molding setups. The role involves working on automation systems including robotics, PLC controls, and production line integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on automation systems for manufacturing processes such as part handling, inspection, assembly, or packaging
- Support design, development, and integration of automated systems or production cells, including exposure to end-to-end or turnkey automation setups
- Work with robots, PLCs, sensors, and auxiliary equipment in production environments
- Assist in commissioning, debugging, and improving automation performance
- Collaborate with production, tooling, and engineering teams
Core Requirements
- 10+ years in automation/ manufacturing automation engineering
- Exposure to PLC systems (Allen Bradley / Siemens or similar)
- Experience working with robotics or automated equipment
- Understanding of production environments and troubleshooting
Preferred (Strongly Relevant Experience)
- Injection molding experience
- EOAT / tooling exposure
- Vision systems or inspection automation
- Experience in medical, plastics, or similar manufacturing industries
