Role Description The Automation Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. In this role, the Automation Engineer will design, program, and implement automation solutions, including PLC, SCADA/HMI, and robotics systems, for industrial clients. Daily responsibilities include configuring and testing control systems, performing on-site commissioning, diagnosing and resolving automation and electrical issues, and optimizing process control for improved efficiency and reliability. The Automation Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret technical requirements, prepare documentation, and support upgrades of legacy equipment and integration of Industry 4.0 technologies. The role also involves providing technical support to customers, ensuring systems operate safely, consistently, and in line with project specifications.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Automation and Process Control for industrial systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering and Troubleshooting skills for control panels and field devices.
- Candidates should possess experience with Robotics and motion control integration in manufacturing environments.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with PLC and SCADA/HMI programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider).
- Candidates should possess knowledge of IIoT and Industry 4.0 concepts and their application in smart factories.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to safety and standards.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work on-site in industrial environments, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate technical information clearly.
