About the Opportunity:
We are hiring Automation Engineers to work on end-to-end industrial automation projects in pharma and food processing industries, involving PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems from design to commissioning.
Qualification:
Degree or Diploma in: Mechanical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electrical Engineering
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Hands-on experience in PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming
- Knowledge of industrial automation in pharma/process industries
- Basic understanding of electrical & instrumentation wiring
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Experience in programming languages such as .NET, VB/VB.Net, SQL/T-SQL (preferred)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar tools (added advantage)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Flexible to travel and work extended hours when required
Key Responsibilities
- Program, test, and commission industrial control systems
- Select appropriate PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems based on customer URS
- Develop I/O lists as per P&ID and project requirements
- Design and implement control logic for automation projects
- Manage project timelines and ensure timely execution
- Coordinate with project managers on scope changes and updates
- Support FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and commissioning activities
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&ID drawings
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems
- Ensure smooth project execution through effective coordination
