Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role based in South Delhi for a Photonic PDK EDA Automation Engineer. The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing photonic design automation tools and workflows. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing PDK (Process Design Kit) components, integrating CAD/EDA tools, streamlining device simulation processes, and automating workflows. The engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to support photonic design projects and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
- Experience with Photonic Design Kits (PDK) development, including layout design standards and DRC (Design Rule Checking).
- Proficiency in EDA automation tools, scripting languages (Python, Perl, or TCL), and CAD/EDA software such as Cadence, Lumerical, or Synopsys.
- Strong understanding of photonic device principles, semiconductor fabrication processes, and simulation methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams and manage project timelines effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Photonics, or related fields.
- Experience in circuit-level or system-level design is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git is advantageous.
