We are hiring an Automation Engineer at Hive Automation LLP.

Preferred: Siemens PLC / HMI / SCADA experience

Role Description
The Automation Engineer will design, develop, and implement automation systems for industrial and manufacturing processes. Daily responsibilities include programming and configuring control systems, integrating electrical and automation components, optimizing process control parameters, troubleshooting equipment and system issues, supporting installation and commissioning, preparing technical documentation, and following safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong automation and process control skills.
- Electrical engineering knowledge for circuits, panels, instrumentation, and industrial power systems.
- Robotics knowledge for integration, programming, and maintenance is preferred.
- Troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and control system issues.
- Relevant knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, HMI design, and industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to read technical drawings and control schematics.
- Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and regulatory compliance is beneficial.
