Results-driven Production, Process & Automation Engineer with 6+ years of experience, including 4 years in
production/process optimization and 2 years in automation engineering. Skilled in conveyor systems, industrial
robotics (6-axis), and process improvement, with hands-on experience in high-volume manufacturing
environments. Proven ability to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and support NPI activities through effective
troubleshooting and continuous improvement methodologies. Demonstrated Innovation in robotics line
management and a commitment to quality control, ensuring project success and operational excellence. Diagnosed
and resolved electrical, pneumatic, and automation issues, reducing downtime.
Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Automation Engineer to join our team on-site at our facility located in Sunguvarchatram. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automation systems and processes. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting system issues, ensuring process control, working with electrical engineering components, and developing and deploying robotics solutions to support operational efficiency. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance automation initiatives will be a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Process Control to identify and resolve issues effectively and ensure smooth system operations.
- Expertise in Electrical Engineering, with knowledge of circuits, systems, and components related to automation technology.
- Experience in Automation and Robotics, including design, programming, implementation, and maintenance of automated systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
- Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of industry standards and practices are advantageous.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
