Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automation Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automation systems that support high-performance software and AI deployments. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and optimizing process control systems, integrating robotics and automation equipment, and collaborating with software and AI teams to ensure seamless operation of production environments. The role involves diagnosing system issues, performing root-cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and documenting configurations and procedures. The Automation Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, safety compliance, and standardization of automation practices across projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills, including fault diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution in complex automation environments.
- Candidates should possess Process Control skills such as PLC/DCS configuration, control loop tuning, and monitoring of automated workflows.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills, including understanding of circuits, sensors, actuators, and industrial control panels.
- Candidates should possess Automation skills covering system integration, industrial protocols, and deployment of automated solutions.
- Candidates should possess Robotics skills related to programming, configuring, and maintaining robotic systems or manipulators.
- Relevant qualifications include a degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering field.
- Beneficial experience includes working with industrial automation platforms, safety standards, and collaboration with software/AI teams.
- Strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to work effectively in an on-site, cross-functional team environment are expected.
