Job Summary:
The Director of Sales is responsible for driving results, shaping our sales strategy and developing our sales team. The Director of Sales will ensure a smooth sales process while making process adjustments and disciplined CRM, pipeline and funnel management.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 7-10 sales professionals and support staff.
- Develop sales team onboarding and continuous training playbook and materials.
- Provide on-going training, communication and mentoring to the sales team to ensure each maintains a thorough and growing knowledge of equipment, processes, data base management, and HubSpot.
- Foster a positive and high-performance sales culture.
- Implement effective sales strategies and set short and long-term sales goals.
- Develop sales roadmap and sales journey through support of Engineering.
- Identify, generate and distribute leads to sales team.
- Continuously refine sales scripts, messaging, and qualification criteria.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Reviews and monitors sales processes and effectiveness to ensure systems and processes are efficient and lead sales teams to achieve team accomplishment of productivity goals.
- Collaborate with marketing to align sales efforts with campaigns and target audiences.
- Monitor and maintain data in CRM.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and track team progress against goals.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reporting and forecasting.
Qualification / Requirements:
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales leadership.
- Strong understanding of CRM software HubSpot.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer service attitude.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
