Role Description The Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The role involves operating and monitoring AOI equipment to inspect printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies for defects, alignment issues, and quality standards compliance. Responsibilities include setting up inspection parameters, reviewing inspection results, validating defects, and coordinating with production and engineering teams to resolve issues. The role also includes documenting inspection findings, supporting continuous improvement activities, and assisting in training team members on AOI procedures and best practices. The AOI specialist is expected to maintain a safe, organized work environment and adhere to company quality and safety policies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Quality Control and Quality Management skills to ensure products meet defined standards and specifications.
- Candidates should possess solid Inspection and Testing skills to accurately identify defects and verify product integrity using AOI equipment and related tools.
- Candidates should possess Training capabilities to support knowledge sharing, onboarding of new team members, and reinforcement of inspection procedures.
- Relevant experience with Automatic Optical Inspection systems, SMT/PCB manufacturing processes, and reading technical drawings or schematics is beneficial.
- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred, along with basic computer literacy and familiarity with production documentation.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, willingness to work on-site in a manufacturing environment, and effective communication and teamwork skills are essential.
