Autodesk Revit Customization Engineer
Experience: 5–6 Years
Location: Thane/Pune
Key Responsibilities:
- Customize Autodesk Revit using C# to automate 3D modeling tasks.
- Develop Revit plugins/add-ins to enable automated placement of components such as tiles, panels, and fixtures.
- Create tools that interact with existing Revit elements, geometry, and families.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and reusability of customization code for future use cases.
- Collaborate closely with design teams to understand placement rules and modeling logic.
- Translate architectural and design requirements into technical Revit automation solutions.
- Document customization logic and provide guidance for future enhancements and integrations.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5–6 years of experience in CAD customization, including at least 3+ years working with Autodesk Revit.
- Strong proficiency in C# and hands-on experience with the Revit API.
- Deep understanding of 3D modeling concepts and geometry manipulation within Revit.
- Experience automating repetitive modeling tasks such as component placement and geometry alignment.
- Ability to write clean, modular, and reusable code.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
